AIAA and Academia AIAA is 43% industry, 19% government, 14% academia Academia has three primary voices on the AIAA Board · VP – Technical Activities; David Riley, Boeing · VP – Publications; Frank Lu, UT-Arlington · VP – Education; Steve Gorrell, Brigham Young University Seven technical directors, and seven regional directors AIAA also has a charitable foundation, The AIAA Foundation, which funds student activities
