Andres Munoz Literature to Film Block 2
When Bruce Wayne (Batman) was young he fell down into a whole that led into a bat cave. The bats came out and attacked him. Ever since then he had nightmares about it. Then one night they went to a play with bats in it and he asked his parents if they could leave. When they got outside a mugger shot and killed both his mom and dad. This taught Bruce that he wanted to fight crime, so he searched a way to fix his fear and tame his anger.
In this film Bruce Wayne showed a lot of his value. When he was assigned the task of killing a man for being a criminal he knew that justice didn’t have to involve death. It showed that he has values.
The title is Batman Begins. In the title I would get that it is the beginning of a life that Bruce Wayne brought himself into to bring justice to the streets of Gotham.
When I first watched the film Batman Begins I was so focused on every other aspect of the film except for theme. When I watched it a whole bunch of other times that the films theme was that we must face our fears and that no challenege is too strong.
