Don’t Stand By

What is Holocaust Memorial Day? Holocaust Memorial Day takes place on 27 th January each year. It’s a time for everyone to pause to remember the millions of people who have been murdered during the Holocaust and Nazi Persecution.

Who was Anne Frank? Anne Frank was a teenager who had a great passion to be a writer. She had hope for everyone and thought that everyone had goodness within them.

Anne’s Feelings Anne had a lot of feelings about the things that were going on in her life. For her age she was very mature.

Why is Anne's story relevant today?? Anne Frank’s story is relevant today because she is an inspiration for us to be brave and strong no matter what is going on in our life. Anne’s story is relevant today as well because there is still Racism, Homophobia and Sexism going on in the world.

How should you react to Homophobia and Racism? Tell a teacher, or any adult you can trust. Do not retaliate or start a fight because it will get you in trouble and make no difference. If you do see someone who is a victim of Racism or Homophobia the you should help them and comfort them.

Can it be prevented? Do not gossip about somebody being gay just accept them for who they are, because everyone is equal whether they are black, white gay, straight or transgender!

Thanks for watching Be yourself and stand up for what you believe in! …

DON’T STAND BY!
