Project VI Scumbling Seuss

The Idea 0 We are adding a sophisticated artistic touch to 2 childhood activities – scribbling and storybooks. 0 Task: Combine scribbling (scumbling) with a character from a childhood story book.

Steps 1. Select an easily recognizable children’s book illustration (i.e. winnie the pooh, dr. seuss, roald dahl, robert munsch, etc). 2. Choose one scene from the book and sketch and scumble a draft of it in your sketchbook. 3. Your good copy will be drawn with a fine tip sharpie on specialty paper.
