TORNADO SAFETY

Would you be safe if a tornado were coming? Here are some of the things that people say, when they tell about an experience with a tornado.

Some people say the sky turns a sickly greenish or greenish black color. When there is a tornado watch or warning Posted, it might hail. Hail should be considered as a real danger sign.

People have also reported hearing a strange quiet that usually occurs after a thunderstorm.

Some people have said that they have heard the roar of a jet or train before seeing a tornado.

If you see debris or cows dropping from the sky, watch out! A tornado is coming! Run to the nearest basement. If you are outside find the lowest area to lay down.
