BIOMASS- DEFINITION  Energy. organic matter, especially plant matter, that can be converted to fuel and is therefore regarded as a potential energy source.

BIOMASS- HOW IT WORKS  Here is Our Video Here is Our Video

ADVANTAGES  1) Biomass reduces fuels  2)Biomass is renewable  3)Biomass maybe a secondary product that adds value to agricultural crop.  4)Growing Biomass crops produce oxygen and use up carbon dioxide.  5)The use of waste materials reduce landfill disposal.  6)Carbon Dioxide is released when Biomass fuel is burned.  7)Less money spent on foreign oil.

DISADNATAGES  1)No more Biomass if crops are gone.  2)Additional work is needed in areas such as harvesting methods.  3)Land used for energy crops maybe in demand for other purposes, such as faming, conservation, housing, resort or agricultural use.  4)Some Biomass conversion projects are from animal wastes and are relatively small and therefore are limited.  5)Research is needed to reduce the costs of production of Biomass based fuels.  6)Is in some cases is a major cause of pollution.

BIOMASS- CONCLUSION  Production of ethanol from cellulosic biomass such as corn leaves and stalks has the potential to augment the feedstock's in the existing industry.  The enzyme costs of converting cellulosic biomass into sugars for fuel ethanol.  Production have been reduced approximately twenty-fold with technology.  The production of ethanol has become the new technology  The production of ethanol has become the technology of the future for fuel ethanol production.
