 Rite of passage are events or ceremonies that mark the transition from one stage of life to another. One example is the Jewish Bar, Bat Mitzvah. Jewish Bar & Bat Mitzvah

Culture  The Jewish is the religion and they come from Israel.  Boys ages -13 Girls ages -12

Purpose  The purpose of the ceremony is recognizing that a young person has reach the age when he/her is no longer a minor and is how a adult.  In the ceremony they were celebrating with the family and enjoy with the Jewish. Israel was dancing and singing.

Interesting facts  Back then they thought throwing a Jewish party was wasteful, and displaying of wealth. Now Jewish Families today put into the celebration with deeper Jewish feeling.  Singing and chair dancing
