Virtual Library Was established in 1995 to provide better access to the SOPAC technical reports and literature to the Users of the SOPAC Library Was established in 1995 to provide better access to the SOPAC technical reports and literature to the Users of the SOPAC Library Virtual Library was not set up by a librarian but an IT specialist and so doesn’t contain any proper library features like cataloguing etc but is simply a listing of reports which sit on a server with links which work to enable users to download reports. At the moment we have the Google custom search that allows for some search to be done on the virtual library. We are aiming to complete scanning of all SOPAC publications by middle of next year.
