Sick Kids hospital ensures excellent patient care, and it is provided to all patients with an equity. In addition, they offer many programs and services for families and patients that makes visiting and staying at the hospital a more pleasant experience. They do provide extra support and information that patients and families need.

Weekly arts and crafts programming Comics for Kids Chef Afternoons Hollywood Theatre Movies Bear Theatre Performances Visits from special guests and celebrities

The programs support the developmental, social, and expressive needs of children and families experiencing illness and hospitalization. They are integrated into the inter-professional teams that provide a patient’s care, and provide interventions and support across the spectrum of health promotion, targeted prevention and clinical treatment. Creative Arts Therapy consists of two programs available across the Hospital, music therapy and therapeutic clowning.

Child Life Programs focus on the social and emotional impact of illness and hospitalization. Their programs strives to promote a positive hospital experience for children.
