Today is Tuesday, September 29, 2015  You will need your: ◦ Writing utensil ◦ Planner and ◦ Language Arts journal ◦ SpringBoard book Announcements: Who was absent? Check the box. A few of you are missing yellow slips and rubrics 1-devin and dre’shawn SRI will do SRI testing today AVID table at lunch today. Get a packet and turn it in to me or Mr. Carpenter by Friday 3 - bring SRI book lists. We will be heading to the library. Seating chart adjustments. 2 nd period will leave their journals here for me to grade.

Please write this learning target in your planner: Learning Target  I will learn about the concept (idea) of change. Practice Activities  I will summarize each stanza.  I will analyze the poem. Success Criteria  I will have written stanza summaries and analyses of a poem.

And turn to page 6. In lesson 1.2 do number two on page 5 and numbers 3, 4, and 5 on page 7. Copy literary terms and academic vocab into your journal dictionaries.
