Date set: Friday 2 nd Oct Date due: Wed 7 th Oct  Complete research methods reading HW 1 (psych205, A2 Psychology, Reading HW)  Print off and complete the ‘Is it really possible to be objective in psychology’ sheet from psych205, my teacher pages, under title ‘research methods – unit 4’ Make sure your AS methods notes/pack are in your folders. WEEK 3

Date set: Fri 9 th Oct Date due: Fri 16 th Oct  Make additional notes on the difference between natural & quasi experiments from the following site: a-quasi-experiment-and-a-natural-experiment-1511.html  Prepare essay plan for 1 st timed essay (aggression 3): a) Outline an evolutionary explanation of one example of group display in humans. (4 marks) b) Discuss genetic factors involved in aggressive behaviour (4 +16 marks) Note: You will not be allowed plan to write essay. WEEK 4

Date set: Wed 11 th Nov Date due: First lesson after study leave  Write an essay plan for the Jan13 aggression question in the back of the aggression pack.  Make revision aids (AO1 descriptions and studies only) on all of the gender topics covered in class up to study leave.  Watch the evolutionary explanations for gender powerpoint (psych205.com, my teacher page, A2 homework). Do not complete the IDA as we will be doing this in class.  Prepare essay plan for timed essay (30mins) on gender. ‘Outline and evaluate the role of genes and hormones in gender development’ (8 marks + 16 marks).

Homework for over Christmas Due first lesson back  Prepare for gender essay 2 which will be timed in class.  Make sure all flashcards are up to date for aggression, research methods (so far) and gender.
