What is Netiquette? Netiquette is having manners on the internet. Etiquette is manners and the net is the internet so hence manners on the internet. Netiquette is being courteous on the web. Manners Plus The Net

What is online safety? Online safety is being safe on the internet. Online safety consists of many things such as reporting unsafe things. It is a very key thing to be safe on the internet because there are many potential dangers on the internet.

Examples of Netiquette To not type in all caps. It makes the receiver of the message feel like he or she is being shouted at. When sending one email to several people make sure you hide the email addresses so many people can’t see the receivers email address.

Examples of Netiquette 2 When you send someone a message use smiles like : . You do this to add personality and humor to the message. When talking to someone, try to shorten any messages possible so the receiver doesn’t have to read a lengthy message. Some abbreviations are: BTW for by the way and BRB for be right back.

Examples of Online Safety When you see something that makes you uncomfortable, tell your parents. Never give away any personal information such as address, phone number, etc. to strangers on the internet.

Examples of Online Safety 2 Never agree to meet someone on the internet. Never send your picture to a stranger. Don’t respond to messages that make you uncomfortable and tell your parents.
