WHAT IS THE MEDIAN? The median is simply the middle number For example: 7,8,9,10,11,12,13, In this situation the median is 10. In some other situations you will need to get the average of the two numbers like if you had the numbers 1,2,3,4,5,6 you would have two middle numbers 3 and 4 which you then get the number in the middle which in this case is 3.5

In some cases you need to put the numbers in order like when they are out of order and its hard to figure the answer out eg:
