Beloved EXPERIENCING THE LOVE OF CHRIST WHICH PASSES KNOWLEDGE EPHESIANS 3:19

Christians are Loved!  In the Bible, the word “beloved” often expresses the simple truth that we are loved by God! (cf. Jeremiah 31:3)  “Beloved” is used nine times in the gospels, exclusively of Jesus as God’s beloved Son.  In the epistles, “beloved” is used primarily of Christians (cf. Romans 1:7)

What it means to be “Beloved” by God  You are specially chosen (2 Thess. 2:13; Rom. 9:25-26)  You don’t have to take vengeance (Romans 12:19)  You have a reason to be pure and holy (2 Corinthians 7:1; 1 Peter 2:11; 2 Peter 3:14)  You have a reason to love others and show it (Colossians 2:12-13; 1 John 4:7-11)  You are never alone (Daniel 9:23)  A glorious eternity awaits (1 John 3:1-2)
