11 1.Surveys made on a “panel” level formed on the results of single time statistical surveys 1- PF (innovation) и 2-MP (innovation), i.e. potential enterprises having R&D expenditures will participate for the report period irrespective of activities 2.Resource users representing the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan are also the “panel” sources 3.Enterprises with CCEA 72 “R&D services” and 85.4 “high education services” are also surveyed R&D - respondents

12 Publications Annual Statistical Compendium: - “Science. Innovation. Information society” - “Science and Innovation activities of Kazakhstan” (published this November with the data for several years). Annual Bulletins: - “On Innovation activities of enterprises in the Republic of Kazakhstan” - “Science and technology activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan” Electronic publications: “TALDAU” Information-analytical system Information is placed according to Statistical Plan

Further improvement of innovation statistics will be aimed at: -100% respondent coverage to be surveyed - Regular trainings of respondents on R&D and Innovation Statistics - International compatibility based on international recommendations (Frascati and Oslo Manuals) - Providing basic indicators for state programs 13 Future prospects
