The Cyberbullying Stepsisters!!! By Hannah Carroll and Lily Bertozzi

Cinderella and Stepsisters O nce upon a time there was a little girl named Cinderella. Her mother died when she was young, so her father married a woman who had two daughters.

How It Began T he next year Cinderella’s father passed away. The stepsisters did not grow fond of Cinderella. They picked on her and teased her constantly. The stepmother made her move rooms to the attic and be their personal maid.

Years Passed 13 years later the stepsisters grew even more jealous of Cinderella’s beauty. They wanted to make her suffer. They didn’t want her to know it was them so they decided they would CYBER BULLY!!!

Their Ideas T he stepsisters were feeling mean that day. They had plenty of ideas about what they wanted to say online to her Here are some examples: “You’re hideous to look at, you laugh like a pig, and you smell like a skunk”. Then they got the computer and started their devious plan.

Girls Have Fun T he stepsisters created a website that was called 20 ways to insult Cinderella. The next day Cinderella went on her computer and found the link. She opened it and saw the horrible webpage.

Cinderella Worries N ow Cinderella questions herself. “Am I really these things that people said about me?” The next day she looks on her computer and finds messages that were worse than the website. She shut down the computer and started crying into her pillow.

The Dream Of The Fairy T hat night Cinderella fell into a deep sleep. She had the wildest dream that her fairy godmother was there. The godmother had plenty to say. She said “My dear, you are being cyberbullied. That is when someone uses any electronic devise to threaten or harass you.”

Her Suspects C inderella wondered who would do such a thing. Then she thought of some people who would do it, and who had wanted to get her back for something.

The Fairy Godmother’s Instructions T he fairy godmother gave some simple instructions to Cinderella. First stop, block then tell. Stop means to not respond. Block means to block the user so they can’t send anymore rude messages. Tell means to tell a trusted adult right away.

Cinderella Awakes I n the morning everything seemed so clear. She did exactly what her fairy godmother told her to do. She stopped, blocked and told. But who did she tell… the animals.

Cinderella Found Out L ater that day Cinderella was cleaning by the sisters’ rooms, and overheard them talking about what they were going to do next. Right then and there she wanted to put a stop to it. So she did.

Shutting Them Down C inderella went to the police. The police quickly came to the house and arrested the two girls. Cinderella told them the whole story.

Telling The Mice C inderella told the mice why cyberbullying is wrong and the consequences that can come from doing it. One of the consequences is that the victim could hurt so bad that the victim could harm him/herself. Also one consequence for the bully is if the bullying occurred in Maryland they could go to jail for 2 years.

How To Help Kids T he next day Cinderella made a website to help other kids with cyberbullying. She explains to kids that they should stay calm, and tell a trusted adult right away. She also tells the kids to print out the evidence so it is easier to track the cyber bullies down.
