WHAT IS THE KINGDOM AND WHY SHOULD I CARE?

Is Jesus still able to fulfill His promises He made?

Does Jesus still answer prayers?

Does Jesus really work the mighty miracles today like He did in the NT?

Is the power of the Holy Spirit available today like it was in the early church of the NT?

What is the Kingdom of God?

Psalm 103:19 “The LORD has established His throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all.”

Colossians 1:13 “God has delivered us from the dominion of darkness and transferred us to the Kingdom of his beloved Son.”

Luke 17:20-21 “The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, Luke 17:20-21 “The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation,

nor will people say, Here it is,' or 'There it is,' because the kingdom of God is within you.”

In 2 Peter 1:11 Peter looks forward to a day when there “will be richly provided for you

Hebrews 6:5 speaks of those who “tasted... the powers of the age to come.”

SOLUTION?

The solution begins by asking God to make His reign invade our lives every day.

Second, understand that life on this earth will always be a mixture of the Age to Come and this Present Evil Age.

Third, ask God to help you see glimpses of glory, places where Jesus is invading our world.

Fourth, get busy there.
