Call to Adventure The red panda family lives in Beijing, China and their forest is being destroyed. When the oldest child hears about a place where Red Pandas could live in a safe paradise, the family goes out to find it.

Hero’s and Companions Hero- Abira, the oldest red panda child. A strong girl, who always brings hope to any bad situations. She has a strong will and opinion. Companions- Hua-flower (Mom), Abban- White (Younger brother) Yani-peace (Sister Cub), Mingmei-Smart, beautiful & Mee- beautiful (twins), Tao-long life, Wen- Culture, Lien-Lotus, Li-strength, Chan, and Gaun-yin-goddess of mercy.

Helpers Dingbang-Protecter: An old red panda who lives in a tree 17 ft tall. He gives advice to the characters about what is ahead and what they can use to help them. Bo-precious: A teenaged languor monkey who takes care of herself and that’s it. She knows her way around very well supplies food, water and shelter for the company. Fai-light: Fai is a young yak part of a big group. He may be small and irregular but he knows how to fight. He never gives up and is never offended.

Apotheosis When getting to Brian Williams conservation center the red pandas in the company will worship Abira for getting them there safely to their paradise!

Boon When getting to the conservation center the red pandas declare her as a leader in their Red Panda society there. (I haven’t really figured it out yet!)

Climax The Red Pandas in the company are going to be staving dehydrated, and who knows, someone may die. ??????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????? You’ll have to read to find out!!!!

Tests -Fights a snow leopard -Starvation and dehydration -Deforestation

Crossing the Threshold -Her baby sister, Yani dies from a tree falling on top of her and Abira swares she must finish her journey in honor of her sister.
