Vocab Holocaust Concentration camps Holocaust railways

What happened? The Holocaust was the persecution and murder of 6 million Jews by the Nazi miltary and its collaborators from 1941 to Mostly happened in concentration camps all around Europe, for example Auschwitz in Poland. To bring the jews into the concentrations camps they used the trains, which would have to be used to transport military stuff.

Which reasons let Germany lose? Military stuff wasn’t carried on the front because the trains were used to transport Jews in the concetration camps. Not only jews but also comunist, homosexulas, mentally and physically disabled. The first concentration camp was created in 1933 and was used to keep comunists in it.

Which reasons let Germany lose ? German were focused more on Jews than fighting the war, for example when they started losing WW2 (Stalingrad, 23 August 1942), they continued killing Jews, but they started doing it faster than before. To do this Germany needed more soldiers, but their soldiers were overstreched (D-Day for example), so in the front they had even less soldiers than before and the superior military of the Allies was grater.

Which reasons let Germany lose ? Hitler prefered to continue the stermination than continue fighting the war, this is like an obsession for Hitler, his main target was to extinguish all the jews.

How many concentration camps ? In all Europe there were 71 concentration camps (Banjica Jun 1941 – Sep 1944), some of them were also Extarmination camps (Auschwitz Apr 1940 – Jan 1945), and others were labour camps (Buchenwald Jul 1937 – Apr 1945).

Impact on Germans Concentration camps required a lot of money and people that could have been used better, for example they could have create more advanced military stuff, and maybe they could also let the free Germans go in war and mabye cancel the superior military of the Allies.

Holocaust trains railways Holocaust trains were railway transports run by the Deutsche Reichsbahn national railway system. All the train railways were connected to almost all the countries in Europe, so that Germany could take the most number of Jews.
