Scottish Words Bum- brook Hay- child Loch- lake

Ways to reach Scotland You can reach Scotland by car, ( If you are in Europe) boat or plane.

Battle Men Many of my ancestors fought in the Civil War. James Johnston Pettigrew was a general in West Virginia. Many Scottish warriors are related to me.

The Riley's The Rileys came on the Mayflower. One of my ancestors was Lt. Governor of Plymouth.

Map of Scotland Scotland is bordered to the south by Great Britain. The North Sea surrounds Scotland to the north.

Scots Scottish men and women were very hardy and loved to drink ale. Bar girls called wenches spent all day tasting beer.

Scottish Warriors Scotland had been a quiet country until Great Britain(not so great in my book) decided to try and take it over. Robert the Bruce only had a small army but as he won more and more battles more men joined him. Robert eventually pushed Great Britain out of Scotland.
