Feedback for my Digipak and website Ancillary task by Ellie Cook

Digipak ‘Really high quality of images throughout, adds a professional feel.’ ‘I like the way that you have made 6 sides, the x on the six looks really cool’ ‘I like the set up- you’ve used every side very well- there is promotional material, all the conventions of a digipak.’ ‘Not sure if the blue, white and black all go together’

‘love the cover image, links directly back to the music video. And the fact that they're looking straight into the camera makes it striking’ ‘I like the way that the band is shown on the cover reinforcing their image’ ‘The way the blue cross makes up the ‘x’ in ‘six’ is really creative!’

‘Nice 'always attract' logo and use of smartphone barcode - fans can connect with the band easily.’ ‘Great idea to include the square thing that you scan to link to the video.’ ‘The use of the qr scanner on the promotional page really looks effective as you’ve used black and white, and the scanner looks as if it belongs there.’

‘The band image links with all the others really well’ ‘Maybe a picture of the band members singing opposite eachother like in the video would have helped link those two products together’

‘the background of the pearls with different depths of field looks really interesting and adds to the consistent house style ‘

‘Nice idea to leave messages from the band members, audience can really engage with them.’ ‘The thankyou message is something no one else did, yet is found in probably every digipak.’

‘Consistent use of 'x' logo - strong brand identity. Good use of conventions, barcode, copyright, record label etc’ ‘I like the blue cross both on the front and back cover, it links the whole thing together really well.’

‘strong focus on the music video, the only thing featured on the homepage which is effective and really promotes the song/album. Nice use of twitter feed and social networking links.’ ‘good consistent colours scheme using the blue from the digipak and again the ‘x’, reinforces brand identity.’ Website

Not too much on the 'about' page which is definitely a good idea, reader doesn’t want to get bored.’ ‘I love the way the blue ‘you me at six’ and large cross stay on the page and follow you down the page when you scroll’

‘My favourite part of the website is the behind the scenes video, such a creative idea and good way of connecting with the band, something that would definitely be seen on a real artist website.’ ‘Good tour info’

‘Not sure whether this is an accident but the 'store' takes you to the contact page..’ ‘The only thing is when you click on the store button it sends you to a contact page, I can't see anything for sale!’
