Socratic Seminar Review 8 th Grade Language Arts

Socratic The word Socratic is an adjective formed from name of the philosopher Socrates.

Socratic question-and-answer Socrates was famous for using the question-and-answer method in his search for truth and wisdom.

Seminar seminar small group of students engaged in intensive study A seminar is a term used to describe a small group of students engaged in intensive study.

Remember: This is a Conversation NOT a Debate! NEW IDEAS  We must all be open to NEW IDEAS  Not everyone thinks alike open mind learning new things  Keep an open mind to learning new things and thinking about ideas in new ways
