User Management As an administrator, you may manage who has access to your institution’s administration console You may change or remove permission levels for existing users (A), or add new users (B) A B
Adding a User Clicking on the “+ User to Console” button (A) allows new users to be added to the console Once clicked, a pop-up window (B) asking for details will appear. Enter the first and last name, along with the user’s address. The user will receive a notification , and will use this to log-in to the console. Permission: Administrator Has access to all console features Permission: Editor Has access only to grant management features
In Conclusion “User Management” allows an administrator to modify existing users, as well as add new users to the console “User Management” applies only to the administration console. Users for the Grant Forward search site do not need to be added manually. The “Administrator” permission level provides access to all admin console functions The “Editor” permission level provides basic access to the grant management functions
