Presentation transcript:

Meet Stevie He is a scientist. He likes to do science experiments to find answers to questions.

Stevie likes to remember information. Just like Matt and Mike, he uses a special notebook to help him remember what he has learned. Science Notebook He uses a SCIENCE NOTEBOOK!

Stevie’s Science Notebook contains everything he needs to remember about what he learned in science. Let’s see if his Science Notebook is just like your Social Studies Notebook.

What is science? 1 Science is using tools and asking questions to learn about the world. What is the first thing Stevie wrote? What did he write next?

What is science? 1 Science is using tools and asking questions to learn about the world. What goes in the bottom corner? This is the page number.

Stevie definitely set his Science Notebook up very neatly. Listen carefully as you follow these directions to set up your Science Notebook with your teacher.

It’s time to make an entry. Your title is “What to Wear” Write the date and the title now. What to Wear

Answer the question, “What should I wear in cold weather ?” You may use pictures, words, or sentences to answer.

Your page might look like this when you are done: What to Wear I wear a coat, hat, scarf, and gloves in cold weather.

Here is what Stevie says: Science Notebooks are a scientist's number one science tool!
