Wot is a strength? An internal feature of the business - NOW Key idea - other people say it is a strength Examples might be – Good location – Hi-tech equipment – High brand visibility – Big customer base – Well trained staff Use strengths to exploit opportunities

Wot is a weakness? An internal feature of the business - NOW Key idea – some seen by others/some seen by you Examples might be – Poor control of product quality – Outdated equipment – Poor skill set in staff – Brand needs modernising Solve weaknesses to create strengths

Wot is a opportunity ? Something to exploit in external environment May not be obvious/ Is in the FUTURE Probably relates back to a strength. Examples might be – Something from PEST analysis – Changes in law, technology, population size, makeup – Changes in consumer behaviour, lifestyles Act now to make future gains
