Mrs. Lanier’s Flipped Classroom

Traditional vs Flipped

Direct instruction been removed from class time and is sent home as homework. Class time that was spent copying notes is now available for discussion, applications, practice, problem solving and helping students be successful. What Is A Flipped Classroom?

Students receive a note guide to complete using the assigned video. The videos will contain definitions, equations, and sample problems. After collecting notes students will complete the assessment. Class Preparation

Class time can be used for higher level activities and problem solving instead of copying information. Students get help when they need it, before they get frustrated. Students have the time they need to be successful. Why Flip the Classroom?
