GREENING THE COLLEGE

 /Edmodo will decrease the amount of paper being wasted or used.  Using Ebooks when possible will be less strain on the students and will be less paper wasted on heavy books  Recycling bins around the school and in the staff office because in is less rubbish going to landfill ENVIRONMENTAL INITIATIVES

 At the end of the day you should turn of all electrical appliances and anything electrical that can be turned off. E.g. Printers, lights, computers and ect. MAKE SURE WHAT TO DO

 Extend new recycling bins to SCC Junior school and other SCEA schools  Reduce non-recyclable food packaging in café and hospitality classes  Use crockery and metal cutlery rather than disposables WASTE MANAGEMENT

 Uses environmentally responsible paper, Utilises e-books and s where at all possible, Uses once-used paper for ALL drafts and notes, Prints and photocopies double-sided, Does not print s unless necessary, Recycles all paper waste, Recycles drink bottles and cans  Has computers and lights OFF when absent for over 30 minutes, Uses remanufactured printer cartridges  Uses durable crockery and cutlery GOALS FOR 2014
