Etiology of cyberbullying For students who did report engaging in any type of cyber-bullying, 14 % they did not like the person; 13 % that person upset them; 10 % admitted they were bullied first, so it was acceptable to bully back; 9 % their friends had bullied others online, so it was acceptable behaviour and 7 % it was fun.
