French and Iroquois War From By Vincent Ridings

Trading The French and Iroquois traded guns and fur at Dutch trading posts before the wars.

The Fighting Began As the Iroquois wanted more land they started attacking the French. Raiding farms and destroying small settlements.

The Iroquois Expand While the Iroquois were attacking the French they were expanding westward along the Great Lakes, pushing other tribes out of the area.

The French Retaliate The French stopped trading, and started attacking any Native American Tribes that were affiliated with the Iroquois Tribe.

The Treaty After a long 56 years the War between the Iroquois and the French ends with the treaty called the Treaty of Grande Paix or Grand Peace
