PHSAUTOMOTIVESALSPHSAUTOMOTIVESALS Electric Cooling Fans

PHSAUTOMOTIVESALSPHSAUTOMOTIVESALS Cooling fan

PHSAUTOMOTIVESALSPHSAUTOMOTIVESALS There are many types, shapes and styles some cars have one fan some have two the main reason that we have a cooling fan is to cool the engine. The cooling fan is an entirely automated circuit. It can be turned on by just turning on the Air conditioner switch or it will come on when the sensor hits the right temperature in the engine Cooling fan

PHSAUTOMOTIVESALSPHSAUTOMOTIVESALS Cooling fan Wiring Diagram

PHSAUTOMOTIVESALSPHSAUTOMOTIVESALS The only thing missing on the last picture is a fuse or circuit protection between the battery Positive and #30 on the relay. How it works is when you turn on the Ignition switch (and all cars do not have to have the key on for the cooling fan to work they are hot all the time(CAUTION: that means they can come on at any time)) power is at the relay ready to go but until you turn on the A\C or the engine is hot it will not come on. But when you turn on that switch power goes through the windings of wire creates a magnetic field pulls over the contacts and connects terminal #30 to 87 and the fan goes on. Some cars will have two fans one comes on when the A/C is turned on and the other goes on when the temperature cooling fan switch turns it on. Cooling fan

PHSAUTOMOTIVESALSPHSAUTOMOTIVESALS Sensors Engine Temperature Coolant Sensor Cooing Fan Switch On this style touch to ground and fan should come on.

PHSAUTOMOTIVESALSPHSAUTOMOTIVESALS Engine Temperature Coolant Sensor Temperature Sensor for light or gauge

PHSAUTOMOTIVESALSPHSAUTOMOTIVESALS Sensors Make sure you know what each sensor is there are different types and styles. Some are one wire some are two wire. On most new cars the fan is controlled by the computer
