Relevant Project Features  8 small robots (more for real world usage) Chemical detection mode (PSSC) 6 IR LEDs/Sensors, 2 Ambient Light Sensors, RF Autonomous navigation  Main control board Change modes/ Monitor swarm LCD display, RF, Push Buttons  Rechargeable batteries

Primary Environmental Concerns  Manufacturing Stage LCD, PCBs, ICs, simple chassis design  Normal Use Individually low power, but a lot of them LCD timeout to conserve energy  Disposal/Recycling Instruct on proper disposal of NiMH Battery Proper disposal/recycling of non- biodegradable components Possible contamination

Primary Ethical Concerns  Safety Not detecting chemicals due to malfunctions Proper testing before shipment Battery placement  Misuse No differentiation of environment/ job RF interference/ sniffing
