Quest – A search for something. James went on a quest for unusual butterflies. Describe a quest you have taken.

Settings – backgrounds or surroundings. Maria sent me postcards with various mountain settings. Describe the most interesting settings you have seen.

Reduce – to make less or lower. The teacher will reduce this picture so that it will fit in our small art project. What is an antonym for reduce?

Buffet – to hit or strike repeatedly. When the winds buffet our apartment building, the windows shake. What is a synonym for the word buffet?
