Understanding Those to be Served The Servant-Leader

Human Nature In An Organization I Understanding Human Nature Not Only Allows You To Comprehend The Motives And Reactions Of The People You Lead, It Also Helps You Improve Yourself. Take The Best Of People As They Are, Since You Cannot Have Them As You Wish. Whenever There Is An Interest And Power To Do Wrong, Wrong Will Generally Be Done.

Human Nature In An Organization II Changing Times Require New Approaches And New Ideas. A Period Of Transition Can Be More Dangerous And Turbulent Than Intense Conflict Itself. New Problems Are Often Created After A Significant Change Has Been Effected.

Human Nature In An Organization III It Is Much Easier To Inspire Movement Of The Group During A Crisis Situation Than In Time Of Relative Peace. After An Overarching Mission Has Been Achieved, Members Of The Organization Often Exhibit A Tendency Toward Isolationism. Once People Slip Into An Isolationist Mode, They Often Become Jealous And Suspicious Of Each Other.

Human Nature In An Organization IV In The Wake Of Victory, Be Prepared To Put Down Many Mini-rebellions. Slow Progress Toward Economic Prosperity Causes Members Of The Organization To Question The Intelligence And Competence Of Their Leaders.
