How is Module 1 organized?
What are objectives/aims of Module 1? Participants will do exercises to reflect upon: Positive and negative motivators in his/her life Drivers (push and pull factors) leading to start-up The above provides confidence to lead change and introduce innovation into the business Re-energise the creative spirit that was evident at the start of their own business journey Participants should also be comfortable with each other and prepared for the rest of the modules associated with this course as “drivers of innovation” themselves.
What are the resources provided to trainers? PowerPoint slide set with speaker’s notes Trainer’s Guide with guidance, suggestions, learning objectives, etc. Timing Sheet with tested slide-by-slide duration
What is your role in Module 1? This first module is VERY important to “set the stage” for the entire workshop Focus on the individuals Facilitate rather than “pontificate” The exercises are key Take the time needed to fully explore with participants their formative events (their own “inner” innovator) This module is the foundation for what follows Ready, Willing and Able – especially the individual motivation part... so get that right!
How to prepare for Module 1? Fully review and get comfortable with all resources – practice, practice, practice. PowerPoint presentations Do you understand each and every slide? Trainer’s Guides Do you “get” the overall “flow” of the module? Are you clear on the learning objectives… and how you will achieve them?
