About the Course In this course, we invite senior executives with over 15 years work experience to serve as “business elite mentors to speak in the forums. A few field trips will also be arranged alongside with the forums. This mentoring program aims to provide opportunities for selected students to learn from the mentors and industry experts to better understand how the real world of business operates.

Course Arrangement for Spring, enrolled students at most. Around 10 sessions (including field trips to visit companies and forums on campus). Forums will be scheduled mostly on Wednesday night (with a few exceptions). Field trips will be scheduled once a month from March to June. –Availability of field trips is subject to change. –Detailed schedule of the field trips will be arranged and announced later. Course requirements: –A written report (at least 600 English words) after every forum sessions. –Prior study of the company to visit. Each student needs to submit at least 2 questions to ask the company before the field trip. –Participation in the field trip and proactively ask relevant questions during the visit. –A written report (at least 1000 English words) after every field trips. Grading policy: –Written reports for forum sessions (30%) –Written reports for field trips (30%) –Participation and attitude (40%)

How to enroll in the course? Course application –Prepare and submit your resume with your career plan to Ashley by 16:00 Jan. 8 (Fri), Students will be evaluated based on (1) their performance in the first semester and (2) resume and career plan. The results will be announced by Jan. 21. Selected students will be registered by Ashley.
