“What I Really Do” Icebreaker © T.Orman, 2012 Directions for a Career Project “What I Really Do” meme Choose a career you’d like to research. Research characteristics of the career (how much education it takes, what the job involves) before creating your meme. Survey several people, asking them what they think that career person/professional does for their job. Create your meme based on your research and survey results. You may create the pictures by drawing them, or using your own photographs, or selecting images from the internet. You can customize the captions (if you want to change “What my family thinks I do” to something like “What my little sister thinks I do”, that is fine as long as it’s school- appropriate). Use the works cited page to credit your sources for art/photos, including internet sites. Choose a career you’d like to research.
