UFTON COURT 27 th – 29th June 2016

Aims of The Trip To provide the opportunity for challenging and exciting experiences and activities. To develop personal and social skills To develop teamwork skills Encourage independence (no mobiles please!). To enrich the curriculum by providing practical environmental and outdoor activity learning opportunities.

Ufton Court: An Overview A timber-framed Tudor house incorporating an earlier medieval manor house. A large Tithe Barn and range of outbuildings. Set in 16 acres of grounds, surrounded by private woodland.

Dormitories of 6-8 beds. We try to place friends together but cannot guarantee particular groups.

A wide variety of environments in one secure location

Safety and Security All locations and activities are fully risk-analysed. First-aid trained staff always available. All activities take place in private grounds. All staff DBS(CRB)-checked.

Safety and Security Staff-Pupil will be between 10 and 15 to one. This does not include Ufton Court staff. All Holyport staff will be on-site and immediately available at all times.

Safety and Security Staff bedrooms are adjacent/close to children’s rooms. All activities are risk assessed and take place on site. Children will be with a Holyport member of staff at all times.

Food & Medical Needs Ensure you tell us of any needs. Children should be aware of the difference between ‘Allergic to’, ‘Don’t like’ and ‘Haven’t tried before’!

What to take Normal outdoor clothing, including waterproofs and wellies. Teddy bear. Details nearer the trip.
