Status summary of the ad-hoc discussions 29th of June 2012 oneM2M call

Funding model The ad hoc found an agreement for the funding model for the secretariat functions (applicable to secretariat functions in case of establishment of a oneM2M budget) A Partner Type 2 will contribute with the same amount of fixed part of a partner type 1. Two options –5% divided between all the Partners –5% divided between all the Partners type 1 and Partner type 2 will pay the same amount of a Partner type 1 Guidance from the plenary on selection of one of these options is needed

Funding model There where no agreement on the use of this funding model for meeting hosting. It will be very difficult to progress on this aspect till a final decision will be taken on the meeting hosting for A clear working assumption on this subject is required incase of need to progress the work on funding models for meeting hosting

Budget evaluation No further progresses on the evaluation itself. A first hypothesis of meetings is under discussion Some of the main current assumptions –Extensive use of electronic meeting –No physical SC meeting planned –TP and WG meeting concentrated in weekly physical meeting –4 to 6 (under discussion) physical meeting for the TP and its WG –No more than WGs/TP physical in parallel during the physical meeting week –On last Plenary the task of collecting the potential offers for voluntary meeting hosting for 2013 was given. Working Procedures No work on the Working Procedure from the last plenary. The ad-hoc was focused on funding aspects. Probably is time to restart the activity.
