Student Spotlight Reading: This week we read A Summer’s Trade and learned about author’s purpose. Math: This week we learned about interpreting the remainder in a division problem and did some problem solving activities. Next week we will finish up our first unit. Social Studies: This week we started learning about specific explorers. We will finish this next week and start learning about the first Settlement. Language Arts: This week we typed and edited our narratives. We will publish these before Thanksgiving! Science: This week learned about light and shadows with the help of our two student teachers Brett and Emelia. Next week we will continue investigating the sun.
