BY: MIRA SRIPADA HOW TO SELECT A BOOK
STEP #1 Try to find a genre that interests you. You can do this by reading the main genres, like realistic fiction, non-fiction and fiction. One of my favorite main genres is realistic fiction. After this it is time to pick your sub-genre. Let us say you like fiction well then you can go into historical fiction if that suits you better. Once you have done this it it time for step #2
STEP #2 Now that you have your favorite genre you need to find a library close to you or a book store so that you can buy or check-out a book. One library near you is The Baldwin Public Library. One book store near you is Book-a-Million.
STEP #3 Now that you have decided where you want to go. You must decide weather you want to purchase or check-out this book. Disadvantages for Check-out: Fees if you do not turn in on time Only a limited amount of time to read Can not highlight/mark anything Advantages for Check-out: Do not have to pay money Can always renew the book
CONTINUING STEP #3 Disadvantages for Buying: Pay a lot of money Sometimes do not have the books you wanted Advantages for Buying: You can mark the pages Do not have to worry about time Can do whatever you want with it Its your to keep
STEP #4 Now you can buy or check-out your book
