Core Textbook – Need to buy! Course Textbook - Rogers, K. & Thomas, J. (2015). Pearson Baccalaureate World History - The Cold War: Superpower Tensions and Rivalries (2nd ed.). Pearson: Harlow. This textbook is the core textbook to be used for the Paper 2: Cold War unit and it is essential that all students purchase a copy of this textbook. If you click on the picture it will take you to the Book Depository website which have free global delivery. Please ensure that you purchase the 2nd edition only as the IBDP specification has changed in this is the latest book for the new specification!

First Task – Create a Website! Your first task is to create a study website/blog for History. Here you will post your study notes, group work and other information work over the two years. Please use to create your website. Share the site with me and enable me as editor/admin: Your site needs pages for each unit you are studying. It also needs a glossary/key words page, historiography page, and a timeline page(s). You may like to make the website non-history specific so you can use it for other subjects.

Second Task – What is Capitalism? Your next task is to conduct some research on Capitalism. Go to: introduction-to-the-cold-war.html introduction-to-the-cold-war.html Complete activities 1-4
