Tilecal week / Dec 04Gerolf Schlager (Cern) TTCoc - Consequences Insertion loss from -17 up to -5 dB on the outputs of the same 1/16 coupler (specs -14dB) Signal timing very sensitive to any motion of the first multimode patch (between the laser and the TTCoc) Multimode attenuators not efficient because signal is not really a multimode signal Singlemode attenuator effect is ~x3 because of the diameter change Never discovered before because tests were not made with TTCex (= single mode source) Discovered with MobiDAQ Now working on solution Slide from Sophie Baron
