Protozoa Protozoa Class : Sarcodina. Class : Sarcodina. Order : Amoebida. Family:Endamoebidae. Genus: Entamoeba. Speciese: histolytica, coli. Speciese: histolytica, coli. Disease : Amebiasis. Disease : Amebiasis. Synonyms : Amebic dysentery. Synonyms : Amebic dysentery. E. histolytica has been found in all populations E. histolytica has been found in all populations Throughout of the world. Throughout of the world.

Transmission of E. histolytica with contaminated food and water. The infective stage of E. histolytica is the cyst form. The life cycle of E. histolytica is direct, without intermediet hosts. Main symptoms :diarrhea with mucous and blood. Morphology:- this parasite has two stages A-Trophozoite B- cyst.

E.histolytica. Trophozoite :- 1-The only pathogenic amoeba. 2-Vary in size from about micrometers depending on the degree of activity. 3-The active trophozoite have finger like pseudopodial. 4-The pseudopodium actively progression in one direction. 5-The E.histolytica have food vacuoles are observed. 6-The nucleus is spherical in shape in the center and have central karyosome 7. Inner surface of the nuclear membrane have rim of chromatin granules. Cyst :- 1-Spherical or oval in shape. 2-The average diameter around micrometers. 3-The mature cyst have two mitotic divisions of the nucleus to produce four nuclei.

E.Coli. Trophozoite :- 1-Non pathogenic amoeba. 2-The size is micrometers. 3-Have broad pseudopodial and slow movement. 4. Inner surface of the nuclear membrane have irregular rim of chromatin granules. 5-The nucleus is spherical in shape and karyosome is Eccentric. Eccentric. B-Cyst :- 1- Spherical or oval in shape. 2-The diameter around micrometers. 3-The mature cyst of E.Coli have 8 nuclei. Diagnosis :- 1- Symptoms. 2- Trophozoite and cyst form in fecal material.
