A not-for-profit member agency organization, NYSID is an ever- growing partnership of 155 community rehabilitation agencies and private sector New York State businesses that provide jobs in nearly every county. (800)

7,012 people employed 3.6 million hours of Preferred Source employment $43.6 million in Preferred Source wages earned $11.85 average hourly wage [2009 figures] (800)

By producing, packaging and distributing over 800 different New York State-approved commodities By satisfying specific agency needs with customized products such as apparel, binders and other one-of-a-kind items Our workers provide :

The Corporate Partnering Program develops business opportunities between NYSID agencies and private vendors to create new integrated work opportunities for people with disabilities. (800)

NYSID partners with NYS- certified MWBEs like Rayben Enterprises and Camelot Printing. Another MWBE partner is DEC Green, who works with NYSID to produce the BigBelly Solar Trash Compactor. (800)
