Presentation transcript:

Chris Conlon Mr. Warren, English 12, Period 4

 The lack of planning the U.S put into the Iraq war. 60 days before the war, they started planning.  The lack of security around the weapons dumps after the Iraqi military was discharged.

 American Deaths-4,287  American’s Injured- 30,182  Total killed in Iraq- 851,179  Total Injured in Iraq- 1,602,215 COSTOFWAR.COM - The Cost of War

 More planning is needed for a full invasion.  More troops were needed when the invasion was first launched.  Not to disband an entire army that know how to get to deadly weapons.  To focus on the safety of our troops and the invaded country’s citizens rather than oil.

 Have more of a plan going into a situation like the Iraq war.  Try to not interfere with religious views.  Attempt to keep people of the invaded country employed so there aren’t as many riots.  Have more security around areas that people can easily access weapons.  Bring more troops in that are better armed.
