Mythology- A body or collection of myths belonging to a people and addressing their origin, history, deities, ancestors, and heroes Myth- A traditional, typically ancient story dealing with supernatural beings, ancestors, or heroes that serves as a fundamental type in the worldview of a people, as by explaining aspects of the natural world or delineating the psychology, customs, or ideals of society Geocentric- Having the earth as a center Heliocentric-Having the sun as the center

Heroes-A person noted for feats of courage or nobility of purpose, especially one who has risked or sacrificed his or her life Darwin-English naturalist who formulated the theory of evolution by natural selection, expounded in On the Origin of Species (1859) and applied to man in The Descent of Man (1871) Natural Selection- The process in nature by which, according to Darwin's theory of evolution, only the organisms best adapted to their environment tend to survive and transmit their genetic characteristics in increasing numbers to succeeding generations while those less adapted tend to be eliminated.

Destiny-A predetermined course of events considered as something beyond human power or control Evolution-Change in the genetic composition of a population during successive generations, as a result of natural selection acting on the genetic variation among individuals, and resulting in the development of new species.
