Where can everything go? Before getting to your room decide the layout Saves time and space in your room Decide where important things need to go Ex: Computer, Printer, Clothes, Refrigerator, TV, etc Figure out what you would need to buy before leaving Some things are not necessary to buy and you may not have enough room. Wait to see if you really need the item.

Can’t Remember Your Class Schedule? Keep your schedule with you at all times Write it down on a piece of paper or type it into your phone In your dorm, have a calendar with important dates and your schedule on it Think of classes daily rather than the whole week

Can’t find a book? Have an area of your room used for books only Get something to put all your books in Items from The Container Store Keep books in your book bag

Grabbed the wrong notebook? Color code notebooks to textbooks Add labels to notebooks and folders Make them by hand or you can do it online! Add a symbol on them to decipher the class that it’s for Keep notebooks, folders, and books together by days when they would be used.

Papers From Class Keep a folder for each class with handouts Keep any graded papers in a folder in your room Cannot understand your notes? Re-write them or type them and then print them Incase you lose papers from class, make sure that you have a phone number and/or from a classmate
