“The cardio Vascular System” is a topic about how your heart, and cardio Vascular system work. What does the Cardio Vascular System consist of? The Cardiovascular system consists of: Heart Blood Medium for exchanging oxygen Nutrients Waste products Blood vessels Pipes Pump which helps the blood flow through the blood vessels The Cardio Vascular system is important, because it transports the oxygen to all tissues in your body. It also removes metabolic waste from these tissues.

What is the name of your body system? The name of your body system is The Cardiovascular system. Where is the Cardiovascular system located? The heart is located in the middle of your chest between your two lungs. The blood is everywhere in your body. What is the role of the system? The role of the Cardiovascular system is to transport Oxygen to all of the tissues in your body, and clean these tissues of metabolic waste. This helps you be healthy, and keep living.

What organs make up your Cardiovascular system? The organs your Cardiovascular system is made up of are: Heart(cardio) Blood vessels(vascular) What are your main functions as a Cardiovascular system? To pump, and circulate the blood, so that it can keep you alive. What is each organ’s function in your Cardiovascular system? The heart – pumps oxygen into cells of the body. Blood Vessels – transport blood.

How do you perform these functions? What can go wrong with the Cardiovascular system? Heart muscle getting weak. Circulation cutting off. Heart stops beating Cholesterol (it’s found in the blood) High blood pressure How do people make sure that the Cardiovascular system is healthy? You go to the doctor regularly for a check up, and they’ll make sure that everything is fine, and if not, they will give you more information about what to do next. There are special doctors for these. They are called cardiologists.

What would happen if something went wrong? The person might stop breathing. Could a person survive without it? No there is no way, you can survive without the Cardiovascular system. You wouldn’t be able to breathe without, and your circulation would cut off, and therefore you wouldn’t be able to survive without it. Why is the Cardiovascular system important to the human body? Because it helps you breathe, and keep good circulation.
