Surrealism – Art work that doesn’t make sense it is a dream like state. 6 Surreal Techniques You may do any of the 6 techniques in your room. Be creative and different. 1. Levitation 2. Juxtaposition 3. Dislocation 4. Scale 5. Transparency 6. Transformation These 2 works by Rene Magritte display an example of scale.
This is an example of levitation. Levitation – When an object is floating but it doesn’t normally float. Example: You could draw floating popcorn pieces in your room. The more random and unexpected the better.
This is an example of transparency and juxtaposition. Transparency – When an object appears to be see through but it’s not supposed to be see through. Juxtaposition – Putting 2 things together that do not belong together.

This is an example of dislocation. Dislocation – When an object is in a place it does not belong. Example: You could put a monkey or a waterfall in your room.
This is an example of Scale. Scale – When an object is out of proportion in comparison to the objects next to it. Example: You could put a giant dog in your room.
This is an example of Transformation. Transformation – When an object is transforming into something else, usually unexpected. Example: You could draw your bed turning into a monster or give your bed animal legs.

You must include 5 pieces of furniture with details like drawers and stuff on top of them. You must have 5 accessories like a rug, lamp, etc. You must add texture to make the objects look realistic.
