BELL”S LIFE IN 1876 BELL INTRODUCED THE FIRST TELEPHONE TO THE WORLD. His mother and wife were both deaf. That was the major influence of his work

Bell’s inventions In his later years he was interested in flight and motion. He made the very first telephone. He also participated in other inventions like the metal detector audiometer and a device that detects icebergs.

Birth and death He was born on March 3 rd 1847 in Scotland and died in August 2 nd 1922 in Nova Scotia.

First experiment with sound Bell’s father encouraged Aleck’s interest in speech and, in 1863, took his sons to see a unique automaton, developed by Sir Charles Wheatstone based on the earlier work of Baron Wolfgang von Kempelen.

In 1875, Bell developed an acoustic telegraph and drew up a patent application for it. Since he had agreed to share U.S. profits with his investors Gardiner Hubbard and Thomas Sanders, Bell requested that an associate in Ontario, George Brown, attempt to patent it in Britain, instructing his lawyers to apply for a patent in the U.S. only after they received word from Britain (Britain would issue patents only for discoveries not previously patented elsewhere ).

The end Thank you all for listening.
